Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the Mental Health Services Director and Assistant Directors in all aspects of the organization and ongoing quality assurance of the Mental Health Services program.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Cover all desks at St. Annes as needed.
  2. Greet and direct families and guests at the reception desk.
  3. Responsible for contributing to the annual evaluation of staff.
  4. Maintain facility and IT needs for MHS by utilizing the Maintenance and IT work order trackers for the department.
  5. Complete and track all flex funds and check requests.
  6. Review and reconcile invoices and consultant activity logs for submission to Finance.
  7. Ensure Medi-Cal eligibility for all clients and provide outside referrals as needed.
  8. Responsible for accurate and timely completion and dissemination of rosters and spreadsheets (i.e.; caseload roster, centralized roster, goals roster, documentation tracker, rendering provider roster).
  9. Create and discharge files in a timely manner.
  10. File all documentation within 24 hours and follow HIPAA regulations.
  11. Maintain tracking system for reviewing client charts and other documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to DMH and St. Annes MHS standards.
  12. Maintain up-to-date staff files with licenses/registrations and other required documentation.
  13. Responsible for accurate and timely completion and dissemination of reports (i.e.; SIR reports, Weekly Census, DMH monthly reports, CSF, CSS).
  14. Coordinate and schedule all appointments with the Psychiatrist. Includes preparing charts for the Psychiatrist and obtaining Court Authorization for clients who are dependents of the court and have been prescribed medication.
  15. Interact with providers, DMH, and other entities to coordinate client care.
  16. Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times.
  17. Schedule and coordinate meetings as requested by Director/Assistant Directors.

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES:

  1. Participate in mandatory trainings, in-services, and meetings.
  2. Participate in the Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) of the agency.
  3. Other duties as assigned.
