How you make a difference

The Program Administrator is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the program, ensuring it aligns with policies, procedures, and client expectations. This role is all about strategic planning and resource management—organizing, directing, and evaluating resources to drive measurable success. By effectively utilizing resources, the Program Administrator ensures that the program not only meets organizational goals but also generates positive outcomes for the company, community, and individuals served. Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Goal Setting: Plans and provides leadership for the program, setting goals and objectives to achieve program success.

• Client Relationship Management: Develops and maintains close working relationships with clients and their representatives, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

• Policy Development & Enforcement: Approves, revises, and enforces policies, ensuring efficient administration and providing clear guidelines and procedures.

• Staff Management & Delegation: Directs all program functions, delegates authority for staff selection, training, development, and disciplinary actions, and ensures performance standards are met.

• Fiscal Management & Budget Oversight: Oversees the program's financial management, including budget creation, monitoring, and evaluating financial viability against the strategic plan.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's degree in mental health, healthcare administration or related discipline.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or Ph.D./Psy.D. in psychology, social work, or administrative discipline, unless required by client or contract.

Experience:

• Required: Three (3) years in a management position.
• Preferred: Experience providing service to persons with mental health diagnosis.

License:

• Preferred: Current psychologist license in state where work performed, unless required by client or contract.
