Opportunity Overview
As our Professional Services (PS) Director, you will be part of the newly built Service organization in Universal Robots, and report directly to the VP of Service & After Sales, and part of the Service global leadership team.

As our new colleague, you will play a pivotal role in building up and driving our professional services business, with the aim of streamlining and simplifying the automation journey for end users and to provide the hands-on support needed for successful implementations.

 

In this global role you will be responsible for building up a collaborative network of 3rd party-based cobot-solution deployment craftsmen organization (professional services pre-sales) to drive our new business segment.

1. You will compliantly and structurally set up freelancers, 3rd party automation firms and everything in between to add capacity and competencies of cobot solution design and build, integration services, project management, proof of concept, regional integrator/DI handoff, installation & commissioning support, and successful hand off to service sales and operations for continued life cycle support
2. Develop service offerings and revenue model from our customers on professional services such as on-demand PS funding and project funding for solution with the aim to quadruple # of yearly Cobot projects at Customer by reducing cobot automation deployment cycle times by 1/4th.
3. Directly support our partners with incremental project-based engineering capacity to take on more projects at one time.
4. Start our US-based pilot program and scale within North America, then actively support global rollout utilizing the relevant ecosystems locally and globally
5. Lead global line walk initiative for UR measuring and reporting leading indicators.
6. Design and implement new offerings as a function of learnings of unmet needs of Customers
7. Understand large accounts and develop professional services deployment plan at their multiple locations across the world
8. Support development of education segment business for Universal Robots
9. Develop and improve capabilities and competencies of the growing organization
10. Develop a range of leading indicators in building the professional services initiative.

 

Ideally you are based in the United States and have the availability to travel a minimum of 50% of your time.
