Position Summary
Develop and maintain predictive forecasting models, regression models for measuring various channel activities effectiveness and correlation with sell out using python and other statistical tools.Role and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain predictive forecasting models, regression models for measuring various channel activities effectiveness and correlation with sell out using python and other statistical tools. Develop and maintain channel-centric and geography-based sales performance models to support development of targets, demand generation campaigns, and guide marketing investments. Apply expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis to synthesize trends into actionable insights and recommendations and be able to tell the story behind the numbers. Establish and maintain regular automated reporting that analyzes data from multiple sources to provide insight into the performance of the mobile business leveraging tableau and other date visual tools. Conduct deep-dive analyses and based on key findings and insights gained, recommend strategic action plans for the Retail and SEA mobile to drive sales across all product categories. Work cross-functionally to identify current organization gaps and emerging trends and recommend solutions based on quantitative analyses and market insights. Source, combine and synthesize large amounts of data from various sources like Hadoop, SQL Server, Vertica. Consolidate data from databases using SQL and other coding languages, then translate the data into actionable insights using a variety of techniques (Tableau/pivot/vlookup/advanced statistical functions, etc.) and present the insights effectively to Sr. leadership. Prepare presentations and updates to senior SEA management and headquarters.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in Applied Statistics, Data Analytics, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any data/analyst related job titles. Applicants must have 2 years of experience in the following: (1) Tableau including preparing data in database template for upload, creating calculating field in Tableau including using Parameter and grouping, and consolidating multiple worksheets and then making dynamic Dashboard; (2) publishing Tableau in Tableau server; (3) SQL including data stores in 3PL server and writing script in SQL to download require data field from server; (4) Python including analysis through Jupyter application to write Python script and performing data analysis; (5) statistical knowledge including preparing and summarizing by using statistic to calculate result along with able to interpret number of the result; (6) Regression function including X/Y, Confident%, cleaning data; (7) R, R Square, P Value, Coefficient, T value; and (8) creating automated scribe to compare exiting store list.
