Supports and coordinates the implementation of production and large-scale manufacturing procedures in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology production environment in order to optimize processes and meet regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include scale-up and troubleshooting for equipment and systems. Assists with establishing operating equipment specifications and improve manufacturing techniques. Provides assistance in resolving technical issues, as well as maintenance of production equipment. May assist in the review of existing operational and process discrepancies in manufacturing. This job is intended for use by companies in the Life Sciences and Medical Device industries that are producing pharmaceuticals, biological, or diagnostic and assay solutions and kits. Incumbents that are producing medical devices and those in non-Life Sciences companies should match to an appropriate role in the Operations or Manufacturing functions.
