Production Supervisor

What you will do:

•  Learn the process to produce closures learning from all areas of the production area
•  Supervise employees in the production of closures ensuring product quality, food safety, safety compliance and awareness, and teamwork
•  Learn and apply written safety procedures and observe work areas
•  Learn and apply SPC sources and basic quality tools such as diagrams, flow, run, control charts, testing, etc.
•  Learn and train in procedures to maximize productivity throughout. Manage equipment, enforce SOP's and standards
•  Develop, supervise and mentor employees. Direct and assign work, administer labor contract and compliance. Foster a positive workplace and communicate effectively

What you will need to have:

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred experience in a union environment
• Associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Excellent computer and communication skills
