Job Highlights

The planner provides SKU level inventory balancing by devising an operating plan with a short and long-term view to meet the demand forecast. This person will work with the commercial team to understand the demand and to create an efficient operating plan collaborating with manufacturing. If assets or other aspects of the supply are constrained, the planner communicates the information to the commercial team to constrain the demand accordingly to avoid stock outs, etc. The planner’s role in the S&OP cycle is:

• To translate and communicate the demand forecast to create a supply strategy in line with operation capabilities in order to balance sku level inventory at targets.
• Demand review
• Supply balancing to maintain inventory targets
• Executing the Integrated discussion identifying imbalances and opportunities in order to gain commitment on the S&OP.
• Preparation of the deck for the Executive Review for final signoff.

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain/operations management planning. Bachelor's degree or APICS CPIM a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of statistical methods
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Actual compensation will vary based on several factors including geographic location, candidate qualifications and other considerations.
