This role plays a key part in delivery performance, capacity utilisation, and process optimisation through efficient scheduling, material availability checks, and close coordination with the Production Manager.<br><br><strong>Location</strong>: Kassel, Hesse<br><strong>Reports to</strong>: General Manager of Kassel Operations</p> <h4><br><strong>What You’ll Do </strong></h4> <ul> <li>Create and maintain production orders based on demand and capacity data.</li> <li>Check material availability in the system before order release.</li> <li>Book and track production orders in the ERP system.</li> <li>Analyse and address discrepancies between system and physical stock.</li> <li>Support operational purchasing based on predefined materials and suppliers.</li> <li>Coordinate closely with the Production Manager to align capacity and optimise resource planning.</li> <li>Identify and support resolution of material shortages.</li> <li>Evaluate and report lead times, order statuses, and production KPIs (e.g. delay causes).</li> </ul> <h4><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><br></h4> <ul> <li>Production Planning: Manage and maintain production schedules aligned with demand and available capacity.</li> <li>Order Execution: Create, release, and track production orders in the ERP system.</li> <li>Material Coordination: Ensure material availability and resolve stock discrepancies in coordination with warehouse and purchasing.</li> <li>Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the Production Manager to optimise planning and capacity utilisation.</li> <li>Reporting &amp; Analysis: Monitor production KPIs, delays, and lead times to support performance improvement.</li> </ul> <h4>What You Bring</h4> <ul> <li>Completed vocational training or degree in business/logistics.</li> <li>Experience in producti
