Production Manager at a glance

The Production Manager, plays a key role in ensuring all food preparation and packaging adheres to the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Food Safety regulations in a safe and compliant space. As a pivotal member of the leadership team for overall Plant Operations as it relates to quality, safety, productivity, cost control, service to sales, employee training and leadership development.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and engagement through effective employee development.
• Lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards ensuring compliance and safety.
• Implement Kraft Heinz quality standards to ensure product quality and regulations by following GMP’s, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and Kraft Heinz specifications.
• Prepare departmental costs, reports, and productivity data and help develop corrective action plans to achieve annual improvements.
• Work with cross-functional partners to find innovative ways to improve the Quality and efficiency of our products.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment.
• Proven experience in a production management/leadership role leading, motivating, and mentoring large teams of hourly and salaried associates.
• Ability to excel working with a diverse array of personnel, from hourly employees to senior leadership.
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to ensure consistency and accountability for my own and my team’s results.
• Ability to traverse my work environment, sustained up to 1/3 of my working hours.
• Ability to perform sedentary work: occasionally exerting 0-10 lbs. of force, limited movement from my workstation for brief periods of time.

Base Salary Range: $96,800.00 - $121,000.00

Target Total Cash Range: $121,000.00 - $151,250.00

Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals. Therefore, target total cash is not guaranteed earnings.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
