About the role

About the role

DustPhotonics, now part of Credo, is a leading developer and manufacturer of silicon photonics solutions enabling the next generation of AI and cloud infrastructure. Our technology powers high-speed optical connectivity for hyperscale datacenters, delivering industry-leading performance, scalability, and reliability.

We're hiring a Production Controller to join our Operations team and take a key role in managing the day-to-day execution of our semiconductor supply chain. This role owns the critical front-end processes of our semiconductor supply chain, coordinating day-to-day execution across external silicon FABs, wafer-level testing facilities, and dicing vendors. A key part of the role is the daily monitoring of Work-In-Progress (WIP) and material movements across the entire supply chain. Operating fully on-site, the Production Controller serves as the operational link between the approved production plan and its execution, ensuring production data integrity in the ERP system and providing timely input to support shipping commitments.

Why Credo
  • Purpose: We invest in what matters. From meaningful-future shaping projects to competitive compensation, we empower you to grow your career while making a lasting impact.
  • People: Connection starts within. We collaborate, celebrate wins, and create an environment where everyone can do their best work.
  • Possibilities: Our belief shapes what’s next. Our technology powers the most reliable and energy-efficient connections around the world – and our team powers new products and markets that come next.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-Day WIP Monitoring: Track Work-In-Progress (WIP) across all manufacturing locations and maintain up-to-date visibility into the status of every wafer and lot.
  • End-to-End Material Tracking: Monitor and manage material movements throughout the supply chain, including transit milestones between silicon FABs, testing facilities, and dicing vendors, to identify and prevent delays.
  • Demand & Commitment Support: Review sales forecasts and firm orders received from the Sales team, analyze current WIP status and vendor/factory execution progress, and provide the Planner with data-backed input and recommendations to support ship-out date commitments.
  • ERP System Management: Own the accuracy and integrity of WIP and production data in the ERP system, ensuring material movements and production status are accurately reflected.
  • Day-to-Day Supply Chain Control:
  • Silicon FAB Coordination: Build and maintain the master production schedule for wafer fabrication, track FAB lot progress, and monitor cycle times.
  • Wafer-Level Testing Scheduling: Coordinate logistics and capacity planning for optical and electrical wafer-level testing (WLT), ensuring timely availability of test and yield data.
  • Dicing & Singulation Logistics: Manage the handoff of tested wafers to dicing vendors and track execution through completion.
  • Supply Chain Interface: Serve as the primary operational contact for silicon foundries, testing facilities, and other relevant manufacturing vendors.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical field.
  • 2–3 years of production control or material planning experience within semiconductor manufacturing, foundry operations, or optoelectronics. Experience in a semiconductor manufacturing company is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Priority ERP systems, including production planning, WIP tracking, and multi-site inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and mid-end supply chain flows, including FAB, WLT, and dicing.
  • Ability to work fully on-site and collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills when working with external vendors, and the ability to bridge the gap between sales expectations and operational realities.
