What You’ll Do

 

  • Responsible for supervising and ensuring execution of Production Planning, Material scheduling, and Shipping/Receiving activities.
  • Responsible for the monitoring of Production Schedules, Raw Material, WIP, Manufacturing Order Variances and Finished Goods for financial tracking purposes and in support of company goals.
  • Exercise a high degree of discretion and judgment to establish priorities and delegate tasks to support personnel.
  • Negotiate, approve, and prioritize production schedules based on demand requirements, new product introduction, equipment capacity and materials supply with Manufacturing Management Team.
  • Manage KPIs including actions with clear deadlines when team is not meeting targets on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis depending on the KPI
  • Responsible for coordinating with customer service to maintain accurate requirement dates for customer orders.
  • Expand utilization of warehouse management system to improve inventory accuracy. • Drive process changes to existing shipping / receiving practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive the development activity of the Production Planning, Material Scheduling, Shipping and Receiving teams to support professional growth and career succession.
  • Use outstanding leadership abilities to select, develop, inspire and evaluate teams and individuals to achieve and maintain world class performance.
  • Conduct regular one on one meetings and performance reviews with direct employees to provide coaching and feedback
  • Identify personnel resource requirements and make staffing recommendations to senior management
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Additional Expectations

 

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related business field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in purchasing, production control, and warehousing in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
  • Must understand the financial implication of Materials Management
  • Must be proficient in MRP systems
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
