13 On Your Side, the TEGNA-owned ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, part-time Production Assistant to support the weekend operations of broadcast and digital media. The right candidate will join our weekend morning news team operating studio cameras and running audio. We are seeking someone who is flexible with their schedule and experienced in all facets of studio production.

Responsibilities:
•    Control multiple remote cameras and lighting board in studio for live news broadcasts and post-production
•    Escort on-air guests to studio, assign microphones, floor direct and act as liaison between guests and producer
•    Operate audio board including mics, music, IFBs and live shots
•    Basic editing for daily promotional videos and post-production recordings

Requirements:
•    Experience in a TV broadcast or production environment
•    Ability to work independently
•    Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
•    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders
•    Must be open to covering other shifts as needed outside weekend morning duties
