What you’ll be doing

The path of apprenticeship is paved with a variety of different tasks and responsibilities. We are all about growth so of course, as you grow, so will your job! You would be responsible for the learning of, production, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical products.  In addition, assist in developing production flow improvements, and strive to bring our product offerings to the highest level of quality, reliability, and value. 

What your day to day is:

  • Producing and testing electromechanical products while carefully following work instructions
  • Troubleshooting cutting edge small electromechanical products such as 3-D stereo cameras, sensors, and integrated logic modules
  • Interpreting engineering prints and schematics
  • Properly documenting issues that arise during the manufacturing process
  • Recording data and photos as required to create historical records of your work
  • Collaboratively working with other Production Assembly Technicians
  • Training production employees on safety, quality, and internal processes
  • Supporting all safety and quality initiatives in lean manufacturing
  • Supporting process improvements and develop leadership skills
  • Performing other related duties as required

What You Should Be:

  • Able to work with small hand tools to properly assemble intricate electrical components utilizing small hardware and connectors.
  • Proactive and action-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Able to lift more than 40 lbs
  • 20/20 Vision that is corrective through contacts or lenses
