Position Overview
Medcor is seeking a Production Artist Intern to join our creative team this summer. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. You'll collaborate with designers, marketing professionals, and project managers to support the production of branded assets across digital and print platforms.
Internship Details
- Duration: 8-10 weeks (June–August 2025.)
- Location: Hybrid at Medcor HQ in McHenry, IL or Sioux Falls, SD.
- Schedule: 15–20 hours per week (flexible on candidates availability.)
- Compensation: $20.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and format artwork files for print and digital use
- Create and update templated marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, social media graphics)
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all designs
- Perform quality checks on final deliverables before publication
- Resize, export, and adapt creative assets for multiple formats and channels
- Support special projects within the Marketing team
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, take feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects
- Understanding of layout, typography, and file preparation for print and web
- Portfolio showcasing production and design work is required
