About the role

Position Overview

Medcor is seeking a Production Artist Intern to join our creative team this summer. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment. You'll collaborate with designers, marketing professionals, and project managers to support the production of branded assets across digital and print platforms.

Internship Details

  • Duration: 8-10 weeks (June–August 2025.)
  • Location: Hybrid at Medcor HQ in McHenry, IL or Sioux Falls, SD.
  • Schedule: 15–20 hours per week (flexible on candidates availability.)
  • Compensation: $20.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and format artwork files for print and digital use
  • Create and update templated marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, social media graphics)
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all designs
  • Perform quality checks on final deliverables before publication
  • Resize, export, and adapt creative assets for multiple formats and channels
  • Support special projects within the Marketing team

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, take feedback constructively, and manage multiple projects
  • Understanding of layout, typography, and file preparation for print and web
  • Portfolio showcasing production and design work is required
