Production Account Coordinator

We are looking for a Production Account Coordinator in our Eagan, MN office.  This individual will plan the materials and production processes required for production orders for assigned group of products. They also ensure that assigned products are optimally produced in terms of quality and timeliness. For this role, you would also be eligible for a $2,500 signing bonus (only for external candidates) upon being in the role for 90 days. 

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Production Account Coordinator, you will be involved with:

Production Planning

• Interpreting and evaluating information to identify customer-specific requirements for finished good production order.
• Determining lot sizes for both general shipment and replenishment orders.
• Determining optimal processing of production orders.
• Creating and releasing production orders to communicate all details necessary to ensure accurate production.
• Monitoring production orders created through production planning process to ensure quality.
• Monitoring and responding to reports.

Production Coordination

• Understanding customer’s service and quality expectations. Working with Account Manager or supervisor to educate manufacturing staff on customer requirements to ensure we exceed customers’ expectations.
• Monitoring schedules, proactively anticipating the needs of the customer in providing information quickly and accurately. Taking ownership of the job through the plant and proactively communicating all issues and information (changes in production plans, quality issues, etc.) regarding the product to the Account Representative on a timely basis.
• Maintaining status of all jobs currently in process or in the future. Ensuring that dates are updated in SAP on a timely basis.
• Ensuring critical project milestones are tracked and communicated to the scheduling team in order to achieve customer ship dates.
• Coordinating timely delivery of all required components to the appropriate department. Communicating special requirements of the job to appropriate personnel within the plant.
• Coordinating delivery of all samples, proofs or other items to the customer as per service agreements or special requests.
• Coordinating and organizing any special packaging, handling and shipping requirements from customer to ensure product is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
• Supporting other production needs as requested (e.g., flex labor needs).
• Maintaining libraries.

Scope and Impact:

• Works under general supervision.
• Solves standard problems of moderate scope; escalates larger problems to a supervisor.
• Has limited decision-making authority.
• Recommends process improvements.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Production Account Coordinator if your background includes:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent development after high school preferred  
• Experience in printing or manufacturing preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Knowledge of material requirements planning for a select group of products
• Proficiency in SAP
• Mathematical, analytical and logic skills
