Product UX/ UI Designer

Position Summary:
The Product UX/ UI Designer will have a strong background in designing healthcare applications, with a deep understanding of the needs of both clinicians and patients. The role is responsible for creating user-friendly, engaging, and accessible interfaces that facilitate care coordination and patient engagement to manage complex chronic disease and change behavior. Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience for our internal clinicians and our members
• Conduct user research and gather insights to understand the needs and behaviors of our front-line staff and patients with chronic diseases they serve
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to illustrate design ideas
• Conduct usability testing to refine and improve the user experience
• Ensure designs are consistent with company branding and accessibility standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5 years of experience as a UX and UI Designer, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design
• Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, React is a plus
• Experience designing healthcare applications for clinicians and/or for patients with chronic diseases is preferred
• Experience with mobile and web-based application design is also preferred
