Summary:
As an intern at Fujifilm Sonosite, you will be an integral part of the Product Management & Sales Enablement team, focusing on the development of the Go-to-Market plan for a New Product. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the prioritization of product scope, participate in daily activities of product management and sales enablement, and attend functional meetings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, operations, and sales, to plan product releases and enhance user experiences. Engaging directly with customers to gather feedback, you'll play a key role in shaping product requirements, building a product roadmap, and developing a release schedule. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in product development from conception to release, fostering invaluable skills and relationships within the industry.
Essential Job Functions:
- Contribute to the Development of Go-to-Market Plans: Assist in creating and executing go-to-market strategies for a New Product portal, focusing on customer engagement and product launch success.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships across different teams involved in product development and sales enablement, enhancing collaborative efforts, and contributing to a cohesive work environment.
- Customer Feedback Integration: Actively engage with customers to collect and analyze feedback, using insights to inform product requirements and influence the product roadmap and prioritization.
- Understanding Product Development Process: Gain hands-on experience with the end-to-end product development process, from building product requirements and managing scope prioritization to working with the development team and preparing for product launch.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, product management, marketing, or related program.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience presenting and evangelizing products.
- Self-driven, organized, and good with time management
- Developed problem solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to excite and lead others.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, product management, user experience, marketing, customer success and sales.
- Strong influence and negotiation skills to align stakeholders around prioritization.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodations
Hourly internship rate: $20.00
