Product Quality Associate

We are currently seeking a Product Quality Associate to join our team in Memphis, TN. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexible start time available if preferred, as early as 5:00 or 6:00 AM)

Your Role at Batesville:

As the Product Quality Associate, you will be responsible for assessing damaged product and restoring product to its factory original condition.

What You’ll Do:

• Repair metal and wood caskets to the original best quality
• Keep work area clean and always organized
• Work with and report to RDC Manager to keep inventory flow controlled
• Have sense of urgency regarding first in first out
• Other duties may be assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• Knowledge of metal and wood repair representing top quality
• Know how to organize work area to maximize productivity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to train/manage/lead/understand LEAN or CI activities and initiatives

Nice to Haves:

• Strong safety background while looking for continued areas of improvement
• 2 years related experience and/or training; and experience with an emphasis in auto body/wood repair field.
