About the role

Description

JOB DUTIES:


Develop system requirements and track completion of development across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Provide support for Policy Admin platforms such as FAST and configurable systems such as JIRA and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across departments as well as with offshore development and QA teams to develop system requirements. Coordinate with offshore resources to build load processes and reporting structures. Manage the full product lifecycle of requirements, from refinement and documentation to launch and ongoing post-launch support, maintaining alignment with SDLC standards. Assist development of the policy administration system including new product builds. Prioritize multiple competing projects and manage the issue backlog to ensure project timelines are met. Drive project execution by creating roadmaps and proactively report on project progress, risks, and blockers using Agile Methodology. Perform analysis for defect resolution and system enhancements. Create process flows for business procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement. Serve as a key liaison with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and delivery expectations. Prioritize work between multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Track tasks and follow up with stakeholder to drive project to completion. Collect and document requirements through discussions with business stakeholders and technical leaders. Utilize enterprise tools like JIRA to manage SDLC processes effectively, ensuring transparency and accountability across project phases. Build and manage the product calculation engines ensuring the rules and calculations related to Annuity new business and in-force illustrations. Troubleshoot technical issues and providing expert support to resolve user concerns promptly, maintaining system integrity and user satisfaction. Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and document requirements, translating business needs into functional specifications and project plans aligned with strategic objectives. Hybrid Work – 3 days per week at office

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 


Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems and Technologies, or a related field and 2 years of experience in IT and software development. Experience to include 2 years in delivering projects using Agile methodology; configuration of Insurance Administration Systems; Insurance Product Development and managing projects based on multiple workstreams
