Role Overview:
  Join our dynamic team as a Product Marketing Intern and dive into exciting projects that drive marketing and sales initiatives for Cantaloupe's innovative suite of solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll be immersed in day-to-day product marketing functions, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Gain a deep understanding of Cantaloupe’s products and their value propositions.
  • Conduct a competitive analysis of the amusement sector, identifying key players, industry trends, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Analyze amusement operators' customer demographics and purchasing behavior to determine key marketing channels and decision-making drivers.
  • Identify and evaluate marketing and sales channels—including direct outreach, strategic partnerships, and digital platforms—to effectively target amusement operators.

Campaign Development & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the product marketing team to develop a go-to-market campaign that drives awareness and adoption of Cantaloupe’s solutions in the amusement sector.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to align messaging and promotional efforts with business objectives.
  • Assist in crafting segmented messaging and campaign assets tailored for SMB and enterprise amusement operators – including channel partners for indirect sales opportunities.
  • Support the development of a lead generation strategy, leveraging inbound and outbound marketing tactics to reach potential customers.

Campaign Execution & Performance Analysis

  • Assist in launching and managing marketing campaigns, tracking engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Conduct A/B testing on messaging, offers, and outreach strategies to refine campaign effectiveness.
  • Gather insights from customer interactions, industry feedback, and marketing performance data to optimize messaging and tactics.
  • Present findings and key learnings to the marketing team at the end of the internship, providing actionable recommendations for future campaigns.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in product marketing, developing go-to-market campaigns and customer acquisition strategies. 
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn. 
  • Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Self-motivated, poised, resourceful, enthusiastic. 

Program Details:

 

  • $21.00/hour
  • Program Dates: May 27th – August 7th
  • Fridays off!
  • Opportunity to participate with other interns across multiple departments.
