Job Summary

 

Reporting to the Vice-President of Sales, the Product Manager-Fire & Water/Lightstreams will be responsible for guiding the success of our innovative products within the swimming pool and outdoor living industries. You will work closely with various departments, key builders, and applicators to develop, execute, and optimize strategies that meet and exceed our sales and growth targets.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Product Strategy Development:

 

  • Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to define and execute a winning product strategy that aligns with our goal strategic goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product innovation.

 

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration:

 

  • Establish effective communication and collaboration with all internal departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Build relationships with key external stakeholders (pool builders and applicators) to gather insights and support sales growth.

 

Sales Support and Enablement:

 

  • Assist the Sales team in understanding product positioning, key benefits, and target customer needs.
  • Develop sales collateral, tools, and training materials to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.
  • Develop a network of service stations throughout the US.

 

Product Lifecycle Management:

 

  • Manage the product life cycle from concept to phase-out, including market research, product development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure alignment with budget and strategic goals.

 

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

 

  • Ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high product standards.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business.
  • 5 plus years of experience in product management/Sales, preferably within the swimming pool or outdoor living industries.
  • Experience using a CRM system preferred (Salesforce), but not required.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and managing products in a competitive market.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Travel overnight within assigned territory up to 50%.
  • Valid Drivers License.
