As a Sr. Product Designer at NEXT, you will spearhead the end-to-end user experience design for an entire product area, working on projects that aim to help small businesses get the right business insurance for their needs. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our product, working closely with product managers, software engineers, product designers, marketers, data scientists, and user researchers. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves digging into data, can generate a wide range of design ideas to help us meet our business and user objectives, and can quickly turn those ideas into reality.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a product strategy to drive growth within a specific customer segment (Construction, Food & Beverage, or Professional Services).
- Lead the integration of AI models into the underwriting and onboarding process.
- Engage with customers in your segment to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Analyze customer and operational data to identify growth opportunities and process improvements.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with design, customer service, engineering, data science, machine learning, and sales teams.
- Foster innovation and rapid iteration.
- Hypothesize, build, measure, and learn to inform product direction.
What You Need
- BA/BS degree required.
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Great executive communication skills
- Passion for serving small businesses and their insurance needs.

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible for our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.
US annual base salary range for this full-time position: $193,000—$260,000 USD
