About Credo AI
Credo AI is a venture-backed company on a mission to empower organizations to responsibly build, adopt, procure and use AI at scale. Credo AI has built a pioneering platform for context-driven AI governance, AI risk assessment and compliance (to regulations like the EU AI Act and standards like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 etc) to ensure compliant, fair, and auditable development and use of AI. Our goal is to move responsible AI development from an “ethical” choice to an obvious one-by ensuring AI’s benefits are universally accessible while addressing the full spectrum of its risks. We aim to do this both by making it easier for organizations to integrate responsible AI Governance practices into their AI development and by collaborating with regulators/policymakers to set up appropriate ecosystem incentives. Founded in 2020, Credo AI has been recognized as a one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2024 by Fast Company, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, named to the CBInsights' AI 100 List and World's Most Promising Startups list, and included in Fast Company’s Next Big Thing in Tech and Intelligent Applications Top 40 by Madrona, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Pitchbook.
The Role
Today, AI governance is disconnected from where AI actually runs. Policies live in documents, evidence is collected manually, and governance teams spend hours chasing screenshots and attestations. You'll change that.
You'll own the Connectivity Layer—the SDK, MCP, integrations, and developer ecosystem that connects Credo AI to customer environments. This isn't about checking integration boxes. It's about enabling automated evidence collection, run-time enforcement, and making governance happen where AI actually operates.
*This is a hybrid role 2x/wk at our SF office
Key areas of ownership:
Public SDK & Developer Experience — Design and ship a public Python SDK that lets customers and partners extend our platform. Own the full developer experience: API design, documentation, developer portal, and integration guides.
Strategic Integrations — Build and maintain integrations with major ecosystem players (ServiceNow, development environments, AI platforms). Navigate the technical, commercial, and GTM alignment required to ship integrations that matter.
MCP Strategy — Own our approach to Model Context Protocol as it becomes the connective tissue for AI agent ecosystems. Position Credo AI as the governance layer that agents route through.
Evidence Automation — Shift evidence collection from manual uploads to API-driven automation. When customers connect their systems, governance data should flow automatically.
Platform Content Asset Strategy — Define and build the platform features that allow external data and content to be valuable and useful in the Platform.
What You'll Do
Define and execute the integration strategy: public SDK, MCP server/gateway, and major ecosystem integrations
Drive evidence automation—shift from manual uploads to API-driven collection, targeting 50% of evidence captured automatically
Own the developer experience end-to-end: SDK design, API documentation, developer portal, integration guides
Ensure we can address the majority of customer integration requests—whether through direct builds, SDK enablement, or partner solutions
Manage strategic partnerships with ecosystem players, from scoping to launch to ongoing maintenance
Partner with Engineering to prioritize integration builds, with Customer Success to understand pain points, and with Sales to support technical conversations
