Product Management, Intern - Summer 2024

Are you passionate about empowering others and making a difference in their lives? As a Product Management Intern you will learn how agile teams at MFP work towards creating value for our users.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Join a cross functional team and get hands-on experience with the full 0-1 product development lifecycle from sprint planning to launching new features and measuring their impact.
• Learn to use A/B testing, data analytics, user research, and modeling to influence company OKRs, identify business opportunities, and build a roadmap
• Engage in the product discovery process using tools like design thinking, user journey maps, and hypothesis-driven experimentation
• Analyze competitive landscape and identify sector trends
• Get familiar with how to create specs, requirements, stories, and any other product specifications needed to move through the agile lifecycle
• Be mentored by an experienced teammate through the internship and advance in your career goals
• Show off your work and impact to the entire company at the end of your internship
• Connect, learn and hear from Product leaders and executives at MyFitnessPal

Qualifications to be successful in this role: 

• Be a current, full-time college student with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible:
  • Undergraduate students graduating between December 2024 and May 2025
  • (rising Juniors or Seniors)
  • Students completing their master’s degree between December 2024 and May
  • 2025
  • Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program
• Passion for helping millions achieve their health and fitness goals
• Desire to learn more about consumer mobile apps with large scale audiences
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, and report back insights to stakeholders
• Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally with all members of the organization
• Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment

This position pays $25.00 per hour. In addition, there is an opportunity for high-performing interns to convert full time upon graduation, and in doing so, you would be eligible for the following benefits listed below:
