Job Summary

Foodbuy is the foodservice industry’s leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations. Verticals that we service include acute and long-term Healthcare, Hospitality, and Gaming and Restaurants.

This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to impactful enterprise-wide business initiatives through the of lens of technology. A successful candidate will be curious, creative, and persistent as a member of the Product Team to collaborate in the delivery of transformative technology solutions.


This hybrid position is based in our Charlotte, NC office.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Foodbuy business, our technology products and user groups, underlying data, and industry to inform product strategies and roadmap
  • Partner with Product Managers to support the development of product strategies and roadmaps 
  • Collaborate with the entire Product Team - Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Design, Architecture, and delivery team members to translate business goals and problem statements into products and solutions
  • Participate in Program Increment (PI) pre-planning and planning by creating feature backlogs in partnership with Product Managers
  • Organize and facilitate User Acceptance Testing processes
  • Build strong internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the product including, stakeholders, product teams, and customers
  • Develop and execute customer centric, design first, product management planning and documentation

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years work-related product management or equivalent experience
  • Experience in working with a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with various levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with business stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven business analytical capabilities to solve complex business issues
  • Travel as needed (less than 25%)
