Product Integration Specialist

Description

Provide industry-leading service to SoundOff Signal customers by ensuring our products and systems are integrated with customer vehicles. The Product Integration Specialist coordinates with our Sales, Training and Technical Service teams to deliver knowledgeable product support and responds to critical customer issues in the field. 

 

Demonstrates SoundOff Signal’s Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers

Provide on-site support for product installation and configuration to vehicle upfitters 

Provide best practices for automotive electronics and upfitting, intending to guide customers toward success using SoundOff Signal products. 

Interact with customers to troubleshoot and resolve SoundOff Signal products and systems

Travel to customer locations when necessary to provide on-site assistance 

Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone and email 

Process warranty claims when appropriate by coordinating return and replacement of parts with the Technical Warranty Administrator

Perform root-cause analysis to identify product issues 

Report provide constructive feedback and product suggestions to improve SoundOff Signal’s products and services

Assist with trend analysis and reporting of product failures

Support training teams as requested or needed

Able to perform duties consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness. 

Other duties as assigned. 

 

High School Diploma, technical education preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Team player with a positive, helpful attitude

Understanding of Automotive Electronics

Basic understanding of CAN bus, Multiplex systems, Control Modules, etc.

Automotive electronics installation experience preferred

MECP, EVT or other related certifications preferred

Customer service experience required

Proficiency in using SalesForce or equivalent CRM for contact tracking is preferred.

Proficiency in using a Windows PC 

Proficiency in the basic Microsoft software packages including Word and Excel, Office 365, and Teams. 

Understanding of iOS and Android OS for supporting SoundOff Signal apps

Knowledge in automotive electronics, aftermarket installs, and 12V circuitry

International travel when applicable, able/willing to get a passport

Bilingual when applicable (Spanish)/able to use translator if needed for additional languages.

Able to use WhatsApp

50% travel

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain auto insurability status.

 

Able to lift up to 35 lbs. 

Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, rotate, and/or reach throughout an entire shift.

Must be able to handle small parts, lightbars and electronic components installed on a vehicle 

Must be able to accurately handle and assemble small parts. 

 

Mostly office environment, occasional light manufacturing environment

Low noise level in a temperature-controlled setting

May work remotely

Mostly normal business hours with occasional need to flex hours

May work onsite at customer locations

Salary Description $80,000 / $100,000 annually based on experience
