About the role

As a Product Designer Ops, your role will be centered around managing and streamlining design workflows, promoting productivity and efficiency. You will lead in developing and implementing robust research methodologies to gain an in-depth understanding of user needs and feedback. A critical part of your role will be overseeing research operations. You'll be responsible for creating detailed reports based on these research findings and will frequently present these insights to various stakeholders, fostering an understanding and integration of user needs throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and optimize design workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure a seamless transition of design proposals from design to development.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies to gather user feedback and understand user needs.
  • Oversee research operations, ensuring user research is carried out effectively and the insights gained are incorporated into the design process.
  • Create and present comprehensive reports for different stakeholders, including executive reports, to communicate design operations progress, research insights, and design decisions.
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of our design system, documenting it for easy reference and use by all team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in design operations, UX research or similar role
  • Inquisitive and a critical thinker.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with design thinking and human-centered methodologies or philosophies.
  • Familiarity with Figma, with a deep understanding of all of its features and functionalities.
  • Nice to have: Experience in Financial Services or with complex applications, prior experience working with large distributed global teams, experience with highly regulated products, and a strong interest in digital payment solutions.

Salary: The range in Colorado for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. Actual starting compensation may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, and skills.
