Product Delivery Manager

JOB SUMMARY
The Product Delivery Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of activities related to the Go-To-Market (GTM) launch of products, generally starting in an Early Adopter phase through General Availability (GA). The Product Delivery Manager partners with technology, marketing, sales operations, accounting, billing, compliance, implementations, and customer support as part of the product team to accelerate speed to market delivery. The Product Delivery Manager coordinates the GTM tasks between cross-functional teams while managing the overall GTM project plan.
Overall, success in this role is measured by the ability to drive GTM projects, delivering products and features in market, and leading cross-functional teams to successfully launch products. In the first year, success in the role includes:
- Executing GTM plans to launch new products and features
- Consistent delivery of features or services on the product roadmap
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the cross-functional management of activities necessary to launch a product or feature into market. Maintains clear tracking and status across all GTM workstreams.
- Partners with product management, product marketing, sales ops, accounting, billing, compliance, implementations, and customer support to ensure the organization is ready to release the feature or product into the market.
- Engages during product initial design sessions to gather feature knowledge so that during adoption and launch the Product Delivery Manager is equipped to answer questions about the product.
- Manages the process to define Early Adopter customers including the criteria for ideal customers, success criteria, and tracks feedback and issues identified during Early Adopter Phase. Partners closely with Product Manager to review feedback and determine resolution, if any.
- Interacts directly with key customer contacts to provide timely updates and coordinate Early Adopter activities.
- Identifies customers who are willing to offer testimonials, case studies and references about the product and partner with Product Marketing to capture customer comments.
- Participates in UAT activities as needed to support the product manager.
- Assists with data collection and tracking of product success criteria.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING
- Executes GTM project plan to successfully launch new products and features.
- Partners internally with other functions to successfully test and launch products.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Certifications:
Education or job knowledge equivalent to college or university undergraduate education.
Experience:
- The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is four (4) or more years of product, delivery management, or customer support experience.
- Preferred experience in financial services or related industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing GTM in a technology-driven environment.
- Deep understanding of agile development methodologies, Go-To-Market strategies, and project management best practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
