Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program Administrator
Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the SRNL P-Card program, ensuring efficient and compliant use of purchasing cards for various goods and services. This role involves managing card issuance, monitoring transactions, enforcing policies, and providing training and support to cardholders and other stakeholders. This individual will also oversee the requisition Preparer Program & Service Subcontract Administration Program.
- Serves as reference helpdesk for cardholder questions and assists cardholders with various issues. Provides training over-the-phone and in-person.
- Creates, modifies, suspends, and/or cancels cardholder accounts as needed during normal business hours and after-hours when necessary.
- Prepares and interprets reports in Excel, P-Card software, and SRNL’s ERP System
- Facilitates timely payments to banks and vendors
- Maintains accurate records and prepares written reports and correspondence
- Supports audits on selected accounts; facilitates document archiving and retrieves documents requested for financial audits.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelors Degree in Legal, Business, Supply Chain or related discipline and 10-12 years of relevant professional experience
• For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is Legally Required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with FAR based procurement in a role awarding and administering subcontracts.
• Directly related work experience with government procurement, DOE, DOD or a prime contractor.
• Experience with rapid purchasing techniques
