WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The Process Engineer plays a critical role in advancing Service Delivery and driving excellence. This position requires the ability to understand technical problems and solutions within both the current and future business environment. You will leverage strong analytical skills to assess complex data, diagnose issues, and propose thoughtful, strategic solutions that enhance operational performance.
In this role, you will design and implement lean processes and efficient workflows. You will support the development, review, approval, and execution of regulatory and operational processes across Service Delivery
The Process Engineer ensures that all process implementations are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with business unit goals—while continuing to monitor operational execution post-implementation.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
- Oversee and coordinate business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align solutions with business initiatives and improve processes by understanding and controlling variation.
- Review proposals for process improvement and gap analyses between current processes and the desired state, design complex new processes and lead transition planning.
- Contribute to the business unit process engineering plan and integrate it with the corporate plan.
- Contribute to large, complex projects that have enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise of multiple process improvement areas and mastery of process improvement tools.
- Participate in continuous review and updates to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions to develop short- and long-term system plans.
- Serve as senior advisor and participant in planning and prioritization for business process engineering-related activities.
- Apply industrial engineering principles to design and recommend efficient layout configurations for distribution facilities based on available space and operational needs.
Pay Information:
The salary range for this position is $105k- 122k

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
This job will be posted for a minimum of 10 days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 4-year college degree in Business, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of related experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities; effectively analyze problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications preferred
- May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout Red Cross system
- Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process
- management and business systems requirements definition
- Must understand technical problems
