PRN - Social Worker (LMSW/LCPC)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities.  Other duties may be assigned)

• Model and enforce Lifeways’ policies and procedures in a fair manner.
• Provide diagnostic assessments, develop treatment plans, make referrals, provide individual, couple and family and group counseling.
• Provide supervision, consultation, education and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups.
• Complete paperwork within agency expected timelines.
• Works collaboratively with treatment team
• Provides clinical oversight. Difficult cases and crisis management are emphasized.
• Provides individualized case management to clients. 
• Make appropriate referrals. 
• Review treatment plans to ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions.
• Conducts comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics evaluation; develops treatment plans which may include the delivery of medical and mental health services to include prescribed medications and the maintenance of medication supplies.
• May provide consultation for chemical dependency problems, education and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups.  
• Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines
• Document into agency’s electronic medical record.
• May perform other duties and special assignments as assigned.
• Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and record

Qualifications

     Required:

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or closely related field plus 2 years’ experience.
• Highest level of state licensure and/or certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days. (Idaho – LCSW, LCPC or LMFT) (Oregon – LCSW, LPC or LMFT)
• State approved or registered supervisor.
• Knowledge of regulations and laws governing mental health, behavioral, and addiction services, ethics, confidentiality, privacy, and other related areas.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass a criminal background check.
