About the Team:

We are seeking an accomplished, proactive, and self-directed Principal System Engineer to lead the end-to-end management, development, and optimization of reporting and analytics within our Salesforce Sales Cloud environment. This role will drive data-driven insights and analytics excellence, serving as the primary point of contact for all reporting and data visualization needs. You will also support change management and user enablement initiatives to maximize adoption and effectiveness of Salesforce tools.

What You'll Do:

  • Reporting & Analytics Leadership

  • Own the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce Sales Cloud reports and dashboards.

  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and relevance across all reporting artifacts.

  • Design, build, and deploy robust reports and dashboards using Salesforce CRM Analytics (Einstein Analytics) and Tableau.

  • Develop dashboards and regular reports for leadership, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for targeted intervention.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Analysis

  • Engage directly with end users, business leaders, and technical teams to review, refine, and clarify functional requirements for reports and dashboards.

  • Facilitate workshops or discovery sessions to understand business processes, pain points, and opportunities for data-driven improvements.

  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

  • Monitor, evaluate, and enhance existing reports and dashboards to ensure ongoing relevance, usability, and performance.

  • Champion Salesforce and analytics best practices, including data governance, user adoption, and change management.

  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce releases, analytics tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

  • Change Management & User Enablement (Supporting)

  • Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and foster a culture of enthusiastic Salesforce adoption.

  •  Assist with enablement programs, including training, workshops, and documentation to build user confidence and competency.

  • Track and analyze adoption of the Salesforce platform.

  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements and solutions.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders in an effective and timely manner.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience driving technology adoption or change management in large, complex organizations, preferably in Sales or CRM environments.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, focused on report and dashboard development, maintenance, and optimization.

Required:

  • Demonstrated expertise with Salesforce Reports and Dashboards, Salesforce CRM Analytics (Einstein Analytics), and Tableau.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and how CRM tools drive sales effectiveness.

  • Experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Analytical mindset, skilled at interpreting data and driving actionable insights.

  • Proven ability to influence, motivate, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

  • Project management experience; able to handle multiple initiatives with competing priorities.

  • Self-directed, collaborative, proactive mindset.

  • Relevant certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Tableau Desktop Specialist, are highly desirable.
