In this role, the Principal Software Engineer/Sr Principal Software Engineer will:

• Be capable of independent design, architecture, and implementation of applicable technologies to complete Mission requirements.
• Be part of a team of Software and Test engineers in the design and development of new enterprise systems and continued O&M of existing systems.

This position can be hired at a Principal Software Engineer or Sr. Principal Software Engineer level.

Principal Software Engineer Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years related experience, 3 plus years experience with a Master's Degree and 1 plus year of experience with a PhD
• Experience with Software Architecture
• Must have development experience with C#
• Must have an active Secret Clearance
• Must work on site. Remote work is not available for this role.

 Sr. Principal Software Engineer Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years related experience, 5 plus years experience with a Master's Degree and 3 plus years experience with a PhD
• Experience with Software Architecture
• Must have development experience with C#  
• Must have an active Secret Clearance
• Must work on site. Remote work is not available for this role.

Principal/Sr. Principal Software Engineer Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Experience with C, C++, and/or Assembly
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with Hex Editors
• Willing to upgrade to a TS/SCI with FSP
