What YOU will do:

• You will own the technical project pursuit, design, development, and test activities of a Fusion avionics systems program tailored for Military special mission aircraft.
• You will lead system projects, drive technical pursuits, and manage bid activities, providing expert guidance and leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• You will coordinate project staffing with engineering management and provide accurate forecasts of staffing demand.
• You will engage in risk and opportunities management throughout the project execution, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• You are responsible for the overall financial performance of engineering activities, tracking project health metrics, and analyzing data to ensure project success.
• You will present project statuses to multiple levels of leadership and be the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
• Proven experience in software, hardware, or systems engineering disciplines with effective technical leadership during pursuit, capture, and execution of programs.
• Prior project management experience as a domain Project Engineer.
• Ability to travel domestically 15-20% of the time.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience leading large-scale engineering projects.
• Deep knowledge of Avionics Systems and architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency with Atlassian suite of tools, including JIRA.
