This is an onsite 2nd shift role

We are seeking an experienced Production Test Engineer (PTE) to support PATRIOT Radar production testing at the Pelham, NH site for the Hardware Integration Center (HWIC). This fast-paced and highly visible role is essential to ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of PATRIOT radar systems.  The PTE will play a key role in 2nd shift system-level testing activities, collaborating closely with first shift test leads to ensure seamless communication and continuity throughout the testing process. This position demands strong technical expertise, including troubleshooting and diagnosing system-level issues using on-board diagnostic software, as well as advanced knowledge of radar systems and testing methodologies.

What You Will Do

  •  Provide hands-on support and technical expertise for 2nd shift PATRIOT radar system-level testing activities.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system-level faults.

  • Provide technical troubleshooting for hardware testing and support defect resolution through root cause analysis (RCCA) and corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

  • Analyze production test data to ensure compliance, identify trends, and drive process and testing strategy improvements.

  • Proactively identify, address, and mitigate vulnerabilities within the PATRIOT test processes to ensure seamless operation and high-quality output.

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement by analyzing test data, optimizing methodologies, and implementing best practices.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Offices to align goals and objectives.

  • Ensure safety requirements are met for products, personnel, and test environments, promoting a culture of safety and ongoing improvement.

  • Contribute to the development, refinement, and documentation of Factory Test Procedures (FTP) to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing processes.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience. 

  • 2+ years of prior experience in PATRIOT system-level testing and troubleshooting.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Advanced to expert knowledge of RF circuits, components, and related test equipment (e.g., Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers).

  • PATRIOT radar diagnostic troubleshooting experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of radar diagnostic principles, including far-field range testing theory and application.

  • Experience in radar system maintenance with a strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide team members in technical troubleshooting and process improvements.

  • Comprehensive ability to interpret test requirements, schematic diagrams, and technical drawings.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as shop floor and engineering tools such as PRISM, PDM, and CMES.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage dynamic workloads.<
