Lead product management activities as the driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
What you'll do
- Work with strategic customers to understand their requirements, influence our product roadmap, evangelize our solutions, and determine how to accelerate cloud consumption.
- Directly influence how our global government customers use OCI.
- Provide your expertise and guidance throughout the deal cycle (pre-RFP to solution delivery and steady-state).
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to understand business drivers and assess application portfolios ensuring that cloud solutions are highly scalable, flexible and resilient.
- Act as the voice of customers to Oracle’s various cloud engineering teams.
- Be our product evangelist - engage directly with customers and partners, participate and present in external events and conferences.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online products/services.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in product management.
- Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online products/services.
- Experience with cloud platform technologies and understanding of how to apply them to real world problems is required.
- Experience as a product manager, or in a technical leadership role, with a cloud platform technology provider is strongly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud platform technologies and how to apply them to real world problems.
- Understanding of public sector customers.
- Experience responding to complex government proposals.
- Strong appreciation of the cloud competitive landscape; customer priorities and challenges.
- Strong technical competence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
