Oracle Health is one of the leading providers of healthcare products and technologies in the US and across 20+ countries, serving commercial, federal and national health systems. Across the Oracle Health product portfolio, product development teams and site reliability engineers are now transitioning their products out of on-premises data centers and 3rd party IaaS providers and onto Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). In this role, the Principal Product Manager (PPM) will be tasked with supporting the modernization of over 200+ products by creating an OCI Control Plane framework to support automated product provisioning, lifecycle management operations and product upgrade. Providing a common framework for modernization of these products will help reduce operational overhead, improve reliability and stability, decrease deployment time for customers and provide a path to transform these products into SaaS offerings.
In this role the PPM will be required to wade through various technical complexities as they will serve as the liaison for development and operations teams by reviewing the current state of products and services, understand various technical needs, translate into functional requirements, and coordinate implementation across multiple agile teams. Must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities, develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done when needed. The PPM will also be responsible for defining and communicating the product roadmap and vision, providing well documented integration standards and processes, driving the integration of products into the framework, and coordinating with program management to drive execution.
- Engage with internal customers and act as their advocate to influence business and technical leaders.
- Create business cases with objective metrics to influence alignment of resources to critical projects.
- Work collaboratively with product developers and site reliability engineers to gather product requirements and designs, translate business requirements into technical specifications, use problem-solving skills to provide value-based solutions to stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly understand system level architectures (running both in on-premises and cloud infrastructure) and technical concepts is a must, along with the ability to do deep dive technical exploration when needed.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap; write product definitions and user stories in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert to balance and prioritize across competing stakeholders and business requests.
- Guide functional products from requirements gathering through implementation across geographically distributed cross-functional development and UX teams
- Create consumer documentation to enable customer success as well as provide product demos, training, and support.
- Define and track metrics to measure stakeholder adoption, success of implemented features and progress toward business goals.
- Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues that might otherwise derail projects.

US: Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
