Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Developer to join our Engineering team within SaaS Apps and Delivery organization. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing our products within a Kubernetes setup on the Oracle Cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and reliability of our applications, leveraging your expertise in Kubernetes, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications:
- MCA, BE, or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Over 8 years of experience in managing large-scale customer-facing web services.
- Solid understanding of Cloud PaaS/SaaS/IaaS environment, Linux/Windows/Solaris administration, container technologies, monitoring and instrumentation, infrastructure security and compliance, Git branching strategies, and technical architecture documentation.
- Strong understanding of automation and orchestration principles.
- Ability to follow Agile development methodology and DevOps practices.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and a creative and analytical approach.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and implement new Cloud technologies.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages: Bash, Python, Golang, PowerShell, JavaScript (Python preferred).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong skills in Kubernetes and experience managing applications in a Kubernetes environment.
- Experience automating deployments using Terraform.
- Ability to manage multi-region deployments.
- Experience managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of GitLab setup and Git.
- Knowledge of Jenkins.

- Manage and maintain our products within a Kubernetes setup on Oracle Cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure the smooth operation, scalability, and reliability of our applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, stability, and security.
- Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform.
- Manage multi-region deployments to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize GitLab and Git for version control and collaboration.
- Leverage Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the Kubernetes environment.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in Kubernetes, cloud computing, and DevOps.
- Contribute to the improvement of our processes and tools for managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes.
