None/Not RequiredThis position is for a professional manufacturing engineer with experience in manufacturing processes and systems to deploy state-of-the-art manufacturing technology into production. These systems will be used to improve processes and enable digital connectivity throughout operations. You will be an advocate for the deployment and expansion of advanced manufacturing systems across Avionics. You will assess opportunities to improve the integration of technology into standard operations and lead expansion of that technology across platforms, product lines, and factories in support of our Industry 4.0 transformation.
What You Will Do:
- Applies knowledge and coordinates with other organizations to improve manufacturing operations.
- Scopes and plans efficiency improvement projects that leverage I4.0 capabilities
- Plans, prioritizes, and manages multiple engineering projects.
- Leads cross-functional teams to ensure adoption of equipment and expansion throughout production environments.
- Prioritizes tasks to ensure that the team’s overall resources are used effectively and that deadlines are met.
- Effectively communicates with operations, management, and technical leadership on proposals and active projects.

- Up to 50% travel is needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing engineer.
- Ability to travel up to 50% for onsite project support.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Background in Manufacturing Support in a high-mix factory.
- Experience with industrial factory layout and capacity modeling.
- IIOT deployment experience.
- Ability to work across the organization vertically and horizontally.
- Strong verbal and communications skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tool.
