In the new era of AI, this Principal Applied AI/ML Manager within the Azure CXP Data & Applied Sciences team will provide you the opportunity to lead and deliver cutting-edge GenAI and ML solutions that drive specific, measurable, and impactful improvements to key areas of Azure customer experience. Responsibilities
This role demands deep technical innovation and collaboration across Microsoft research and CXP product and business teams to forge novel methods, tools, and frameworks that deliver highly performant AI capabilities with measurable impact on Customer Experience. The responsibilities will include:
- Co-lead the scale motion for the foundational architecture and AI framework with Engineering partners
- Research new methodologies and consult on technology options for best practices in AI feature delivery across the product portfolio
- Drive data-driven decisions for AI feature prioritization and delivery
- Design experiments to evaluate the performance and measure the impact of new AI/ML models and product features
- Lead the team to deliver key AI/ML capabilities across CXP products
- Ensure compliance to Responsible AI standards throughout the AI system lifecycle
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
- OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
- OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) people management experience.
