A Day in the Life

The Continuous Improvement Global Supply Chain Analyst will focus on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs This role identifies areas for improvement, implementing strategies, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the supply chain organization. Regularly assessing supply chain planning performance, identifying inefficiencies, and pinpointing areas where improvements can be made.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Developing and Implementing Solutions:
Creating and implementing solutions to address identified issues, such as optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational performance.

Data Analysis:
Utilizing data and metrics to track progress, measure the effectiveness of implemented changes, and identify further areas for improvement.

Collaboration:
Working with cross-functional teams within the supply chain to ensure alignment and effective implementation of improvement initiatives.

Training and Mentorship:
Providing guidance and training to team members on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Project Management:
Planning, scheduling, and managing continuous improvement projects, including Kaizen events, and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Technology Adoption:
Exploring and implementing new technologies and automation solutions to further enhance supply chain efficiency and performance

Skills and Qualifications:

Lean Six Sigma

Knowledge of and experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies is often required.

Lean Thinking/Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.

Project Management:
Experience in managing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.

Compelling Communication:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Influence:

Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving continuous improvement goals.

Analytical:
Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Supply Chain Knowledge/Business Acumen:
A strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing.

Must Haves- Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience

Nice to have

• Blue Yonder experience
• Lean Six Sigma certification,
• APICS certification
