The Advanced Effectors & Space organization within the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls to support a portfolio of development programs within the AET & IKCA Finance team. These programs support the Enabling Technologies portfolio and associated program financial management activities.
This position supports program cost controls, financial forecasting, earned value management activities, and contract deliverables across assigned programs. The role includes financial analysis, reporting, cross-functional coordination, and use of Raytheon financial and program management systems.
What You Will Do:
- Execute monthly and quarterly contract deliverables
- Manage Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOTs) with partner business units, including funding alignment and scope tracking
- Support development of monthly financial forecasts for the portfolio in RPlan
- Provide financial analysis and support to program leadership to enable compliant cost collection and reporting
- Support program controls reporting and executive-level briefing activities
- Utilize financial and earned value management systems, including SAP, APEX, PRISM, and related tools
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting information to management and business teams
- Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data sets
- U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience communicating financial and program information across organizational levels
- Experience working in matrixed organizational environments
- Experience coordinating work across multiple functional disciplines
- Experience supporting process implementation and cross-functional initiatives
- Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse systems

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
