Primary School Caretaker

I'm currently looking for an experienced Caretaker to support a Primary School, with the potential to work across a number of schools within the same Trust.

We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and hands-on, with a good range of general maintenance skills.

The ideal candidate will have:
✅ Previous experience as a Caretaker, Site Assistant, Premises Assistant or similar
✅ Good general maintenance and DIY skills
✅ Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance
✅ Good understanding of health & safety
✅ Ability to identify and report maintenance issues
✅ Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
✅ Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with school staff
✅ Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)

The role would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment and is comfortable working independently.
