We are hiring a Pricing Data Analytics Manager to our winning team! 

 

The Pricing Data Analytics Manager will support HUS Strategic Business Units by leading advanced analytics projects that drive actionable pricing insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating tools and processes that increase pricing effectiveness and efficiency across the organization. The role requires a self-starter mentality, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the ability to independently solve complex problems. Effective communication and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting, analysis, and strategic pricing recommendations will be essential for success in this role.
 

A Day In The Life

 

• Develop and maintain pricing tools that promote continuous improvement across the Hubbell Utility Solutions segment, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
• Establish robust processes for large-scale data analyses, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze large, sometimes imperfect datasets to derive insights and independently tackle complex analytical challenges, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels, facilitating improved decision quality.
• Lead the implementation of quotation and pricing procedure changes to improve key pricing performance metrics.
• Execute mass price adjustments in response to evolving market conditions, meeting strict deadlines while maintaining data integrity.
• Manage the price maintenance process for new customers and new products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop tools and processes to collect market feedback from the Sales team, identify trends, and ensure competitive pricing.
• Create sophisticated pricing models and algorithms to maximize efficiency and win rates.
• Mentor newer team members and promote best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. This role may involve leading direct reports.
• Participate in and lead special projects as needed.

 

What will help you thrive in this role?

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another analytically rigorous field. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of data analytics experience and/or experience in an equivalent analytical role with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Three or more years of Power BI development experience, including creating complex DAX measures and intuitive visualizations.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently develop complex reports, analyses, and recommendations using inputs from multiple functional areas within the business and multiple data sources.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present results in a clear, concise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to consistently meet critical deadlines and deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience with programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python, or R preferred.
• SAP ERP experience is a plus.
