Location: Arlington, VA or Continental USFluence is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Manager to help build, maintain and execute a preventative maintenance plan. You will be responsible for directing preventative maintenance teams to execute the preventative maintenance plan you will primarily be accountable for developing. You will help develop and refine training for the preventative maintenance team, so that new members can be agile. You will identify inefficiencies in the preventative maintenance plan and implement improvements as needed. You will understand the costs and budget associated with your team and work to lower costs and meet budget targets.
As a Preventative Maintenance Manager, you will:•Create, refine and update a preventative maintenance plan for all current and future America’s Fluence Battery Storage projects with a services agreement.•Oversee execution of preventative maintenance activities, identify areas of improvement, and implement changes.•Review or revise service agreements to ensure our preventative maintenance plan is in compliance with our contracts for all Americas’ projects.•Manage the costs of your teams and keep them operating efficiently to ensure on-budget and on-time delivery of the preventative maintenance plan.•Prepare and provide regular reports on your team’s status, opportunities, risks, and schedule.•Collaborate with other department leaders to highlight concerns that affect part quality, project reliability, plant operation, etc. and if applicable update the maintenance plan to detect these concerns early, thus adding value to the project.

What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- 2-5 years of experience in Battery Storage Commissioning or Services role (preferably some experience with CATL Liquid Cooled Batteries).
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Other degrees considered if candidate possesses deep battery storage understanding.
- Proven record of working autonomously
- Highly tuned drive to win and deliver excellence under tight timelines.
- Desire to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Track record of taking ownership over responsibilities and pursuing them diligently.
