Job Description
As an integral member of ServiceNow’s Global Enablement leadership team, the PreSales Enablement Lead is responsible for empowering and aligning the global Solution Consulting field organizations with the solution and selling competencies needed to effectively cultivate and drive sales opportunities. Successful candidates will have an in-depth understanding of solution-selling and a proven track record in driving content design, development, deployment, and delivery.
This role is responsible for leading strategy for the design and delivery of the enablement experience, in full support of the company’s financial and marketing goals. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in cross-organization collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders in Solution Consulting, Product Development, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Leadership. Tight alignment with the global enablement teams within ServiceNow is critical to success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating the strategic direction and implementation of the enablement strategy, framework, methodologies, and support processes
- Continual optimization of enablement programs with alignment to company priorities, stages in the sales cycle, and the customer buying process
- Drive adoption and build integration of the recommended enablement systems and best practices
- Develop and deliver role-specific learning paths that meet the needs of the business
- Partner with Sales Onboarding, Solution Enablement, Customer Learning Center, and other functions to create a complete accreditation program and coaching culture that reinforces selling skills, selling motions, and best practices, aligning with solutions enablement
- Identify and create tracking on key metrics that indicate effectiveness and overall engagement
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize and align enablement needs according to overarching company priorities, market conditions, and gaps in the roles
- Benchmark and assess enablement programs based on feedback, results, and third-party analysis to ensure the greatest business impact
Qualifications
- Must Have: 10 or more years of related experience in sales or technical enablement and experience managing teams of distributed/remote resources
- Experience with solution or outcome selling, ideally aligning to a value framework
- Proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed
- A track record of driving strategy and results with people who do not always report to you while maintaining positive relationships
- Ability to interact with and influence a wide range of employees including senior management
- Lead a function and team with significant operational and development impact
- Ability to continuously collaborate with stakeholders and across the Enablement organization to reimagine, refine, and evolve enablement approaches
- Strong understanding of solution consulting with the ability to translate to field-ready programs
- Knowledge of sales and solution consulting enablement methodologies, tools, and learning best practices
- Ability to apply strong working knowledge of modern curriculum deve
