Pre-Scale Operator 2nd Shift $24.28*

Responsible for performing the required tasks of pre-scale, mixing, and assists with wash-downs. Contributes to the day-to-day expectations of production, including high quality, output rates and maintaining a safe work environment. Constant interaction with operators and team leaders.

Prescale tasks

• Scale ingredients accurately and prevent spillage
• Check condition of tubs, buckets, boxes, bags prior to use.
• Complete all pre-op validations, pick sheets, lot codes and ingredient counts.
• Communicate and work well with warehouse, operators and team leaders.
• Checks and verifies ingredients are correct for production.
• Open ingredient containers correctly and check for quality of ingredients and packaging.
• Must validate scales are working correctly.  
• Partials out remaining ingredients into proper containers.
• Must follow all allergen guidelines, i.e. containers, aprons and utensils.
• Must follow GMP requirements.
• Communicate with following shift any information critical to production.
• Cover all equipment and product when not running.
• Measure and communicate any spillage of ingredients or pre-scale mistakes or losses to Team Leader and QA.
