About this Position

The Pre-Licensing Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures in the PFSU Life Pre-licensing department. This includes providing support to the Field and other departments as needed, demonstrating strong communication skills and having the ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.

This is hybrid position that requires working onsite at our Duluth, Georgia office and remotely multiple days each week.

Salary up to $41K

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties:

  • Interprets state Laws to ensure all roster documentation is received and accurately maintained.
  • Ensures timeliness of keying and auditing to allow reporting accuracy within state specific guidelines.
  • Reports clearly and concisely issues found during audit using an Access database.
  • Capable of running queries in Excel. Capable of communicating clearly verbally or written.
  • Communicates with Regional Training Coordinators and Licensing Coaches.
  • Notifies Agency systems and management of system issues impacting class attendance or errors experienced by licensing coaches over weekend classes.
  • Demonstrates technical skills and has the ability to learn multiple systems to run reports and register students for online and classroom course.
  • Protects the company’s authority to do business by complying with legal and ethical standards, policies and procedures.
  • Monitors, researches, and responds to inquiries.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Data entry experience preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Knowledge writing sequel queries a plus
