About the role
Description
Eastern Shore Endodontics is seeking a Practice Manager who has overall responsibility for managing a practice, including operational efficiencies (staffing, scheduling, etc.), financial performance, managing referral relationships, and people management.
Job Functions
- Be a leader that creates a positive staff culture
- Ensure excellence in patient, employee, and physician satisfaction
- Oversee all practice operations
- Disseminate and enforce policies and procedures
- Practice Management system super user knowledge
- Work with HR department on functions including hiring new employees, progressive discipline, performance reviews, and terminating employees
- Responsible for staffing schedules based on needs
- Responsible for training and coaching staff with support from Regional Director/HR
- Ensure proper use of office equipment by designated personnel
- Responsible for practice inventory; working with procurement team as needed, ordering supplies, and managing inventory
- Assist in developing the annual budget for the center
- Approve invoices for payment
- Assist credentialing department in obtaining physician signatures or documentation as needed
- Assist Revenue Cycle department to ensure maximized reimbursement is achieved
- Promote the practice physicians and brand
- Monitor workflow dashboard and open tasks
- Attend scheduled manager’s meetings
- Assists with scheduling and coordinating monthly/quarterly physician meeting
- Maintain physical appearance and organization of the office
- Coordinate regular staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of dental experience/knowledge; or combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of practice management experience is preferred
- College degree from a four-year college or university (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Power Point) (required)
- Practice Management Software experience (ex. EndoVision)
- Team player who thrives in a busy, fast paced, and ever-growing environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented, accurate, and reliable
