Summary of Role:
The Business Operations role will play a critical part in the execution of a new demand planning process within the GlobalFoundries Power Product Line. This is a new role, on a new team, in a very exciting company and industry.  This role will be critical to driving our results in managing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Product Line, including functions like manufacturing, logistics, procurement, pricing, and financial planning, with a focus on maximizing efficiency, cost control, and profitability. Responsibilities include analyzing data, identifying improvement areas, implementing process changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Demand forecasting and planning: Analyzing market trends, customer demand, and production capacity to forecast future product requirements and optimize inventory levels.
  • Supply chain management: Managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and optimizing logistics to minimize costs and disruptions.
  • Production planning and scheduling: Coordinating with manufacturing facilities to schedule production runs based on demand forecasts, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Cost analysis and control: Monitoring manufacturing costs, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and implementing cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
  • Pricing strategy development: Analyzing market dynamics and competitor pricing to develop optimal pricing strategies for different product lines and customer segments.
  • Sales and revenue management: Collaborating with sales teams to track sales performance, identify potential issues, and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation.
  • Performance reporting and analysis: Developing key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking operational metrics, and providing insights to leadership on overall business performance.
  • Process improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline operations, implement lean methodologies, and optimize workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Project management: Leading cross-functional teams on projects related to business operations, including new product launches, process improvements, and system implementations. 

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). 
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry dynamics. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within tight timelines. 
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maste's or PhD in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools. 

Expected Salary Range

$96,900.00 - $184,200.00
